On 28th March 2025, Lourdes College of Nursing organized a webinar on the topic “Nursing Informatics & Its Application” as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance digital literacy and technological awareness among nursing professionals and students. The session was conducted by Ms. Saranya Suresh, Emergency Nurse Coordinator and Nursing Informatics Specialist at AIIMS, New Delhi. Notably, Ms. Saranya is also a proud alumna of Lourdes College of Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing Batch of 2006).
During the one-hour session, Ms. Saranya provided valuable insights into the latest advancements in nursing informatics and their practical applications in multi-specialty hospital settings. She discussed how informatics tools are revolutionizing nursing workflows, improving patient care, and streamlining clinical documentation. Her presentation highlighted real-world examples and cutting-edge systems currently in use, making the session both engaging and informative. Participants appreciated her clear explanations and interactive approach, which made complex topics easy to understand and relevant to daily nursing practice.
