The Department of Child Health Nursing offers student-centered teaching and learning experiences in a supportive environment that helps students to acquire the knowledge, skill, and attitude required to respond to the health needs of children of all age groups and their families in various settings. We adopt various teaching and learning methods like seminars, symposiums, group discussions, case studies, care analysis, clinical teaching, bedside rounds, and procedure demonstration by utilizing lab and clinical facilities. We train our students to assess growth and development as well as their health needs in providing age appropriate comprehensive nursing care.

We appreciate the philosophy of child health nursing and focus on providing specialized nursing care to children of all ages, aiming to promote their health, well-being, and development, and also educate families on child health and safety. By upholding quality and continuous growth in the areas of Child health nursing education and research, the department guarantees continued professional development.
