Curriculum Committee

The Curriculum Committee of Lourdes College of Nursing plays a vital role in maintaining alignment with the academic guidelines set forth by the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC). It serves as a formal institutional body responsible for the planning, supervision, and continual enhancement of the nursing curriculum.

OBJECTIVES

  • To ensure compliance with KUHS and INC curriculum standards and regulations.
  • To evaluate and authorize academic policies, including updates and the introduction of new programs.
  • To oversee the development and integration of a cohesive curriculum structure.
  • To assess the curriculum’s relevance, quality, and effectiveness regularly.
  • To guide curriculum planning and administration to meet current healthcare and community demands.
  • To ensure students acquire essential knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors for professional nursing roles.

Quorum: The quorum shall be 2/3 rd of the total members.

FREQUENCY Once in three months and as need arises.
