
Lourdes College of Nursing bid a heartfelt farewell to Prof. Dr. Sr. Lilly Joseph, who retired after 12 years of dedicated service as Principal. The event, titled “Agradecida”, celebrated her remarkable leadership, commitment, and contributions to the college’s growth.
The ceremony began with a prayer song and Bible reading, followed by a warm welcome. Touching tributes were offered by students, faculty, and dignitaries, including: Rev. Dr. Antony Valunkal, Auxiliary Bishop of Verapoly Archdiocese, Rev. Fr. George Sequeira, Director, Lourdes Institutions, Rev. Fr. Vimal Francis, Associate Director, Sr. Rachel, Principal, Lourdes School of Nursing, Prof. Josy A Mathew, Vice-Principal,Prof. Sr. Rufeena E A, Incoming Principal.
Highlights included the “Symphony of Memories” by students and the Token of Love presented to Sr. Lilly. In her farewell speech, Sr. Lilly expressed deep gratitude for her journey at Lourdes, while Prof. Sr. Rufeena E A shared her vision as the new Principal. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the Lourdes Anthem, marking a meaningful and memorable transition in leadership.
