The Orientation Programme and PTA meeting for the 24th Batch of B.Sc. Nursing students was held on 25th October 2025 at the Lourdes College of Nursing Auditorium.
The programme commenced with a prayer and was presided over by Rev. Fr. George Sequeira, Director, Lourdes Institution. Rev. Fr. Vimal Francis, Associate Director, Lourdes Institution; Sr. Rufeena E.A., Principal, Lourdes College of Nursing; Prof. Josy A. Mathew, Vice Principal; and Prof. Saniya Jose, Head of the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, graced the occasion with their presence.
During the session, the newly admitted students were oriented about the history of Lourdes College of Nursing, the curriculum, rules and regulations, Student Support and Guidance Programme (SSGP), and the activities of the Anti-Ragging and Anti-Drug Cells.
As part of the programme, the students also took an Anti-Drug Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to a drug-free campus and responsible student life.
