STUDENT SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE PROGRAMME

Health universities, in addition to imparting technical knowledge in health sciences, are tasked with the challenge of fostering both technical competence and social skills in their students. Recognizing this need, Kerala University of Health Sciences has introduced a holistic Student Support and Guidance Program (SSGP) to address academic, psychosocial, and health-related issues. The program offers personalized counseling, career guidance, exposure to cultural and academic activities, and mentoring. Following this approach, Lourdes College of Nursing has implemented a similar Student Support and Guidance Program (SSGP) to provide timely support and help students adjust to the demands of the healthcare profession.
